Daeho Catering
Terms & Policies
These policies apply to catering inquiries, quotes, payments, pickup, cancellations, and customer information.
Version 2026-08-13 · Last updated August 13, 2026Catering Terms & Conditions
An inquiry is a request for availability and is not a confirmed order. An order is confirmed only after Daeho provides final written confirmation and receives the required payment. The final invoice or checkout page controls the confirmed menu, quantity, pickup location, pickup time, taxes, fees, and total.
Prices and availability may change until the order is confirmed. Customer-requested changes are subject to availability and may change the total. Daeho may make reasonable ingredient or presentation substitutions when necessary while preserving the nature and value of the order.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate contact, event, pickup, dietary, and tax-exemption information. Orders may not be transferred between pickup locations without Daeho’s written approval.
Payment & Order Confirmation
Payment must be completed through the secure checkout link supplied by Daeho. Do not send card details through the inquiry form, email, text message, or special-request field. Any applicable sales tax and authorized fees are shown before checkout.
Unless a written invoice states otherwise, full payment is due by the deadline shown on the invoice. An unpaid quote may expire and does not reserve kitchen capacity. A payment receipt confirms payment; Daeho’s order confirmation identifies the accepted fulfillment details.
Suspected fraud, payment disputes, failed payments, or inaccurate information may delay or cancel an order. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method whenever possible; bank processing time may vary.
Cancellation, Changes & Refunds
Unless the customer’s written quote states different terms, cancellation requests received at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled pickup are eligible for a full refund; requests received 3–6 calendar days before pickup are eligible for a 50% refund; and requests received less than 72 hours before pickup are non-refundable.
Approved order reductions follow the same schedule. Additions remain subject to availability and additional payment. Custom, special-order, or already-purchased items may be non-refundable when disclosed in the quote.
If Daeho cannot fulfill a confirmed order, Daeho may offer a reasonable substitute, alternate pickup location or time, account credit, or refund for the affected portion. Refund eligibility does not include circumstances outside Daeho’s reasonable control except as required by law.
Pickup Policy
Customers must pick up from the location and during the time window shown in the final confirmation. Available inquiry locations are SF, Milpitas, San Mateo, Concord, and Bellevue, but availability must be confirmed for each order.
Please bring the order name or confirmation number. Contact Daeho promptly if you expect to be late. Food quality and safe holding time may be affected by delays. Orders not collected may be disposed of when required for food safety and are not automatically eligible for refund.
Responsibility for transportation, handling, serving, temperature control, and storage transfers to the customer or authorized pickup person when the order is released.
Food Safety & Allergen Notice
Daeho kitchens handle common allergens, including wheat, soy, sesame, eggs, dairy, shellfish, fish, peanuts, and tree nuts. Cross-contact is possible, and Daeho cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Dietary notes are requests for review, not a guarantee.
Customers with severe allergies should contact the catering team before payment. Perishable food should be transported promptly and kept at safe temperatures. The customer is responsible for safe handling after pickup.
Order Status & Communications
Daeho may contact the customer about availability, quote changes, payment, preparation, pickup readiness, delays, cancellation, and refunds using the supplied email address or phone number. Transactional messages are part of fulfilling the request and are separate from promotional marketing consent.
Customers should review confirmations promptly and report errors. Shopify or another disclosed payment service may provide payment receipts and order-status messages when payment is enabled.
Privacy Notice
Daeho collects contact information, company information, event details, pickup selections, menu choices, dietary notes, special requests, consent records, and—when checkout is enabled—order and payment-status information. Daeho uses this information to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, process and fulfill orders, prevent fraud, provide customer service, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations.
Payment card data must be entered only in the secure payment provider’s checkout and is handled under that provider’s privacy and security practices. Daeho may share necessary information with service providers that support hosting, order management, payment, communications, analytics, and legal compliance. Daeho does not use the inquiry form to sell payment card information.
Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, accounting, dispute resolution, security, and legal requirements. Depending on applicable law, customers may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting catering@daehodininggroup.com. Some records may be retained where legally permitted or required.
General Provisions
Daeho is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
Daeho may update these policies prospectively. The version accepted with an inquiry or shown at checkout applies to that transaction unless the parties agree otherwise in writing. Electronic acceptance and payment records may be retained as evidence of agreement.
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any mandatory consumer or disability-access rights that cannot legally be waived remain in effect.
Questions or cancellation requests must be sent to catering@daehodininggroup.com. This policy is a business-use draft and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before payment launch.
